BE A PART OF SOMETHING SPECIAL
We are asking people to read the resurrection story of Jesus, on camera, with emotion and inflection.
The readings will be edited together into an artistic video and used in our online Easter services.
What do I have to do?
Read these verses while filming it on your phone or device (see instructions below). Please read all of these verses, in either an ESV or NIV translation.
- Matthew 28:1-6a (end at, “for he has risen”)
- 1 Corinthians 15:54b and 55 which says “Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?”
Instructions for filming:
- Be sure to film horizontally not vertically
- Center your face in the frame
- Consider what’s behind you in the shot
- Make sure the lighting is good so we can see your face
- Hold recording device straight on at eye level, not up the nose
- Be close to the microphone on your device for optimal audio recording
- Have the scripture large enough to read easily right next to your device or in front of you so you can look into the lens as much as possible.
